 COMPUTER
Basic automation functions needs an Intel/AMD CPU 1,5 Ghz and higher and 1 GB ram or higher. Propbably you'll need at least 1 PCI Standard slot (for audio card) and 1 rs232 serial port (if you need to use the RDS PIRA32 encoder). Pay attention to the cooler system and the power supply because the computer will run 24/24. We advice to create 2 partitions on the disk: the first (C:) about 30GB reserved to Windows installation; the second (D:) with all remaining disk space, formatted with 4096 bytes clusters, and reserved to all your audio files.
 OPERATING SYSTEMS
MB STUDIO work on Windows XP SP3 or Windows VISTA SP2 or Windows 7 or Windows Server 2003 / 2008 (best on 32 bits versions).
 AUDIO CARD
At least one audio card is required, but we suggest to use 2 audio cards or 1 audio card with multiple outputs to take advantage of the prelisten function. One popular solution is to use the main board integrated audio card for prelisten, and one good PCI audio card for automation audio output (like a Creative PCI card). A very good card is M-Audio Delta 44 or Delta66 that provide 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs.
ANTIVIRUS
Some antivirus applications can slow down MB STUDIO or produce false alerts. We suggest to use NOD32
BACKUP
To backup your data you can use a RAID system, or periodically copy your data into another disk or another computer using a backup utility (ex: Comodo Backup )

MB RECORDER is an audio logger allowing to record, play, convert wav, mp3, ogg, wma files or webcast live audio to the net. Allows to carry out completely automated recordings audio of long duration, storing to hard disk until 180 days of audio; passed the set up limit the program automatically delete older files. 
MB LIVE is a sotware that stream a live audio feed from any place to an MB STUDIO PRO automation in the main radio studio. MB LIVE make use of a TCPIP connection: modem 56k, isdn, adsl, umts and is fully configurable with 3 different audio codecs: MP3, OGG e AAC+. This program is freely distributed in the MB STUDIO PRO package.
