USB SMS MODEM SUPPORT END

In September 2025, with the release of MB STUDIO PRO 8.80, support for modems on the USB port or serial port for receiving SMS messages will end.

As a replacement, it will be possible to use a simple Android phone that will function as a modem and therefore will receive and send messages not only SMS but also Whatsapp and Telegram.

If you are using a USB or serial modem it will no longer work in MB STUDIO 8.80 and I therefore invite you from now on to get an Android phone that will work as a replacement for the modem.
