To use MB STUDIO PRO's CONFIGURATION - SPEECH VOICES services, you must obtain an API key from your preferred provider.

To use Google Cloud TTS:

🟦 1. Go to the Google Cloud Console

Open this page:

👉 https://console.cloud.google.com

Sign in with your Google account.

🟦 2. Create a New Project

At the top left:

1. Click Select Project

2. Click New Project

3. Enter a name (example: MBStudio TTS)

4. Confirm

Each Google Cloud project has its own services and API keys.

🟦 3. Enable Billing (required)

Google requires a billing method to be linked to the project, even if you stay within the free limits.

1. In the left menu, click Billing

2. Add a payment method (credit card or prepaid card)

3. Confirm

👉 You will not be charged as long as you stay within the free monthly quota.

🟦 4. Enable the “Cloud Text‑to‑Speech API”

1. In the search bar at the top, type: Text-to-Speech API

2. Click Cloud Text‑to‑Speech API

3. Click Enable

This activates the classic Google TTS service for your project.

🟦 5. Create an API Key

1. In the left menu, go to APIs & Services

2. Click Credentials

3. Click Create Credentials

4. Select API Key

Google will generate a key that looks like this:

AIzaSyAxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

This is the key you will enter into MB STUDIO.

🟦 6. (Recommended) Restrict the API Key

For better security:

1. Click on your newly created API Key

2. Go to API Restrictions

3. Select Restrict Key

4. Choose Cloud Text‑to‑Speech API

This ensures the key can only be used for TTS.

You can now copy the key and paste it into MB STUDIO to use Google Cloud Text‑to‑Speech.
