MB STUDIO SETUP PUBLISHING

This section allow to configure all the web export details. MB STUDIO can export to an ftp server the following files:

  • OnAir.txt a text file describing the song or program title that is curently on air. You can customize the content under Webcast \ Metadata \ Text
  • Playlist: Here you can enter a little template written in any language (text, php, java, asp, flash, etc etc) which must contain one or several wildcards that MB STUDIO automatically will replace with the contents required. Here is the list of wildcards can be used:

    timexx%% - airtime object xx
    %% itemxx - title object xx (if a song is displayed artist - title)
    yearxx%% - year object xx
    commentxx%% - comment object xx
    albumxx%% - album object xx
    authorxx%% - author object xx
    labelxx%% - object label xx
    codexx%% - object code xx
    filexx%% - name of the file object xx
    %artist% - interpreter object xx (if a song is displayed only the interpreter)
    %title% - title of  object xx (if a song is displayed only the title)

    instead of xx enter the number of the desired object (0 = item currently airing, from -1 to -99 objects already aired, from 1 to 99 items to be on air)

  • Messages: Here you can enter a template written in any language (text, php, java, asp, flash, etc etc) which must contain one or several wildcards that MB STUDIO automatically will replace with the contents required. Here is the list of wildcards can be used:

         timexx%% - date and time of the message xx
         senderxx%% - message sender xx
         messagexx%% - message text xx

         instead of x enter the number of the desired object (0 to 99 last received messages)

  • Images folder: Here it should be set to the folder that contains the covers of the songs, the logos of the radio station, the images associated with playlists or breaks or items that are onair. Images must be in .jpg format and small format (preferably around 160x160 pixels - MB STUDIO do not display too big photos).

    Up to 10 radio station logos can be saved into the images fodler with the name default.jpg (the main logo - required), default1.jpg (the second logo - optional), default2.jpg (the third logo - optional), and so on up to default9.jpg. Logos are displayed randomly.

    To manually assign a picture to a song, use the cueing of each song (Other Tab).

    To assign a picture to a playlist enter the playlist editor, load a playlist and load a picture.

    To assign a picture to a break, open MB SPOT, select a break and click on Property.

    To assign a picture to a single item, save a pic in the images folder with the same name that you wrote in the item property in the title box.

    To automatic enable the upload to your ftp server enable the checkbox on the left, a file called OnAir.jpg will be constantly uploaded, updated on your ftp server.

    If the checkbox Download and install automatically is active, MB STUDIO will automatically search for covers on internet
