credo che quello più spesso sia consigliato per situazioni "estreme" ( es. calpesio o avvolgimenti, tipiche situazioni nel capo live)
se lo devi semplicemente usare per i collegamenti in studio, credo che quello da 5,5 mm sia più adatto anche perchè essendo sottile, viene facile infilarlo in canaline o fori vari.
