Maurizio per rendere mb totalmente compatibile con ogni tipo di codifica che ne pensi di implementare anche gli encoder mp3 e aacPlus? Eviteresti agli utenti che vogliono fare stream con quelle codifiche di installare encoder esterni (migliore qualita', problemi di distorsione, titoli nello stream ecc.)

Immagino che ci sarebbe da pagare la licenza per l'utilizzo ma, da verificare se e' del tutto legale, si potrebbe fare come Oddsock www.oddsock.org.
Ti fanno installare l'encoder privo delle famose .dll e ti invitano ad usare quelle incluse nel winamp

Nei miei "esperimenti interni" gia' riesco a generare audio compresso in formato aac, quello che mi manca è un componente che mi permetta di inviare il flusso ad un server shoutcast....al momento ho dei problemi a gestire il dsp plugin shoutcast di winamp e sinceramente preferirei realizzare qualcosa di custom integrato in MB STUDIO....comunque sto sentendo altri programmatori all'estero per avere informazioni su come connettere un server shoutcast e come "sparargli" il flusso audio senza usare il winamp; quindi non escludo di avere presto risultati interesanti.

Ciao Maurizio, infatti io mi riferivo proprio ad un sistema encoding proprietario di mb e non ai dsp del winamp.
Il sw che ho usato come esempio ha anche la versione stand alone che per codificare aac+ e mp3 richiede 2 dll, enc_aacplus.dll e lame_enc.dll (prelevabili entrambi da winamp) altrimenti codificherebbe solo in ogg vorbis.

Meglio il secondo ;D, restituisce una qualita' eccezionale gia' a bassi bitrate facendo risparmiare soldi e banda. Peccato che al momento non e' ancora supportato da tutti i player.
