Non conosco quella scheda audio, probabilmente c'è qualche regolazione che puo' aiutarti nel software di configurazione della scheda, lato MB STUDIO non c'è nulla che si possa fare, la stessa differenza apparirebbe anche in altri software WDM o ASIO
A giudicare da una foto trovata in rete c'è il settaggio "Input Level" che dovrebbe fare al caso tuo:

Lui invece dice "piu' basso" ... tranquilli ... l'aggiornamento non c'entra nulla

Anche io ho notato che dopo l'aggiornamento la scheda di acquisizione DELTA 44, acquisiva il segnale con un volume più alto.
