Multiple instanses of MBRecaster was created by jonny@aalgaard.org

It it possible to run several instanses of MBRecaster at one machine, or even better, are there any plans for making av new MBRecaster that can stream 4 different Sources at the same time? I do have a customer that would like to process 4 different radio stations using only one machine. This machine will of course need 4 sterer soundcards, but i think we can use Virtual soundcards as they already are using sound Ethernet software like liwewire. We have testet the Virtual soundcard with only one Source, and that Works just fine.
Any suggestions?

It's possible to run multiple instances of MB RECASTER PRO but for any session a licence purchase is required. Up to 10 sessions are supported on the same computer.

Thank you for your very quick reply!

I have tried to test With 4 different Recaster sources (free lisences) but only one recaster will run at the same time. Will this behavior change when installing a pro Version? All instances has been runed as administrator.

Also, is it possible to purchase an usb dongle containing more than 1 License? Or do I have to use, in my case 4 different usb port, With 4 different cryptobox usb dongles?

You cannot run multiple instances with MB RECASTER FREE or the demo version of PRO.

to run multiple instances you will receive only one dongle (1st license is priced 130 €) and then you can add up to 9 more licenses on the same dongle (addition licenses are priced 90€ each). So finally you will have multiple instances of MB RECASTER PRO with only 1 dongle. Of course any instances is fully indipendent and you can capture the same or a different source for any of it. You can set the instance number on Setup\Options\Instance n.

Are you saying that on the same computer if you run 2 instances of either MB Recaster Pro or Studio Pro you need to purchase another license?
I tried launching a second instance and it worked, but it does not remember the new settings on second instance as it reverts back to the original instance settings.

That's true, any instance require a separate license inside the USB dongle. NOrmally when you purchase 1 license you can run 1 instance of the product.
