Ciao, Maurizio,
ho settato come da tue indicazioni: flusso, apertura porte... ma quando mi connetto dall'esterno: buio totale! mi sfugge forse qualcosa o, come potrebbe essere possibile, potrei aver saltato qualche passaggio

difficile che io possa saperlo via forum, potrebbero essere tantissime cose. La prima cosa da verificare suppongo sia l'encoder di MB STUDIO, funziona? o non funziona? cosa indica?

l'encoder funziona.
Giustamente ina maniera "blind" è difficile dare indicazioni.
Provo a spiegarmi:
1. Ho settato, come da figura l'encoder server: 8554/(nomescelto);
2. Ho inserito una user name (modificato anche nel file da te indicato) e una passwd. Inoltre sul router aperte porte 8554 e 8888
Attivato l'encoder... partito... indica connessione e il tempo di attivazione.
quando per vado a digitare il mio ip con le porte (provato prima 8554 poi 8888) non si connette...
Come router ho un Fritz7590

Che caratterisitche dovrebbe avere il server video se vogliamo averne uno nostro?

se intendi il tipo di computer vedi qui: www.mbradio.it/it/mb-studio/requisitimbstudio

se intendi trasmettere il flusso video dalla tua connessione internet senza usare un server esterno considera che ogni telespettatore richeide circa 2 o 3 megabits di banda, quindi per 10 telespettatori contemporanei devi avere almeno 30 megabits di banda UPLOAD (la banda download non interessa)

Si intendevo una server non il pc di programmazione.
Un amico vuole regalarci una workstation. Ci sarebbe utile sapere hardware minimo o consigliato.

non so se col termine "server" ti riferisci alla versione di Windows, vanno utilizzati Windows 11 o Windows 10, non Windows server.
Se ti riferisci al tipo di computer non è obbligatorio che sia un server, l'importante è che abbia queste carratteristiche: www.mbradio.it/it/mb-studio/requisitimbstudio
