CONFIGURATION - RDS

MB STUDIO PRO can send the title of the program or song that is currently on air to the RDS encoders of the following manufacturers PIRA http://www.pira.cz/rds/ and DEVA BROADCAST http://www.deva-rds.com/products/rds-encoders and AxelTech: https://www.axeltechnology.com/rds-encoder/

connection is possible via COM serial port or via TCP connection

Port
Select here a serial port to which the encoder is connected or the TCP protocol by specifying address and port

Program service
It is an acronym that identifies your station (Max 8 ASCII characters)

Statis PS period (Pira and Axel only)
Display period in seconds of Program Service (when alternating with Dynamic PS)

Dynamic PS
This is a text that can alternate with the Program Service. Note that in some countries it is prohibited or not recommended to change the PS. To show the currently playing title enter %item% or one of WILDCARD WORDS TO CUSTOMIZE EXPORT. Note that for compatibility with all RDS receivers on the market only 7-bit ASCII characters are sent, therefore accented letters such as è é à etc are converted into the corresponding ones without accents.

RadioText
The title of the program currently on air should be indicated here. Traffic announcement
If active, MB STUDIO automatically activates the TA when an object with the "News" property is broadcast
